Dead Mickey Long Sleeve T-Shirt

The graphic featured here comes from a smoking bin photographed outside a liquor store in Albuquerque. The figure printed on it was so mischievously strange: recognisably Mickey, yet clearly offbeat. We were drawn to that tension between cuteness and dirtiness. The original photograph was then layered with added noise, stains, drips, and textures reminiscent of spray paint on a wall or an old poster left out in the rain. This raw, weathered condition captures the reality of public art.
