New Mexico Reversible Vest

The New Mexico Reversible Vest features a double-sided construction, with each side presenting a distinct visual language.

The patchwork motif around the waist on the black side is based on wall decorations photographed by UnDeR20 founder TenGuSan at a local restaurant in New Mexico. The original design combines geometric elements associated with border culture and vintage architecture. These forms were reproduced, cropped, and reassembled into a complete color-block composition.

The yellow side draws directly from the visual identity of the New Mexico state flag, centering on its striking red sun symbol. The high-saturation yellow and red create a vivid contrast that reflects the region’s intense sunlight, desert landscape, and open-road scenery. The vest is made from structured pure cotton and finished with a washed treatment for a softer, more natural hand feel.
