Dangerous Dynasty Jacket

Created to mark the 35th anniversary of Michael Jackson’s Dangerous, this jacket reworks the album’s visual world through an Eastern lens. The back artwork begins with a photograph of MJ’s eyes captured by UnDeR20 founder TenGuSan in Los Angeles, then layers in a traditional paifang, Beijing opera figures, dragons, a tiger, cranes, the Great Wall, and New Year print imagery.

The short, wide silhouette is cut with relaxed shoulders and generous room through the body and sleeves, while ribbed cuffs and hem keep the proportions controlled. A large back composition runs from the shoulders to the hem, turning the jacket into a single uninterrupted visual statement.

The body is made from soft, finely textured 100% cotton moleskin—not animal leather—with heavyweight cotton piqué used at the collar, side panels, and selected sections for tonal contrast. A pigment garment-dye wash creates a naturally aged finish, completed with a YKK metal zipper, custom UnDeR20 swivel buttons, raised gold chest branding, and dimensional angled pockets.
