Keepsake Utility Jacket

This jacket explores letters as objects that are kept, reopened, and passed down. The idea began with a stamp album preserved by TenGuSan’s father and the familiar habit of parents saving small objects for their children. A large envelope flap at the chest closes with a custom wax-seal snap; opening it reveals handwritten text, like reading a letter sent from home.

The short, boxy workwear silhouette has relaxed shoulders and generous room through the body. Its front structure references the oversized yokes of 1970s Woolrich hunting shirts, transformed into two dimensional envelope flaps with concealed storage, while the back collar repeats the same folded construction.

Two red performance fabrics—one smooth and one with a cotton-like twill texture—create subtle tonal depth. A breathable translucent TPU membrane adds light structure and everyday comfort while supporting the sculptural pockets. Stamp graphics, hidden writing, a custom UnDeR20 wax-seal snap, and a matte silver-tooth zipper complete the correspondence theme.
