This is a brand new persona, a cool girl named Lola from a different parallel universe. The creative concept of this SOFUBI toy comes from an animated film that I really enjoy, "Persepolis." The black and white comic-style paint job references the everlasting black hijab worn by Iranian women, yet Lola rebelliously sports a jacket emblazoned with "PUNK IS NOT DAD" and a pair of grungy Nike shoes. These elements not only pay tribute to the film but also incorporate interesting and clever alterations. For instance, we have created our own original comic, changing "PUNK IS NOT DEAD" to "PUNK IS NOT DAD." We hope you enjoy our toy and also recommend this freedom-symbolizing film to everyone.
