Waxed Envelope Jacket

Inspired by the way letters are sealed and reopened, this jacket builds its identity around folded envelope structures. Large flaps extend from the raglan shoulders and fasten with custom UnDeR20 postmark snaps, while curved deck-style front pockets and an adjustable rear waist tab add function without interrupting the clean front.

The short, structured workwear silhouette uses sculpted shoulder folds to create shape and volume. Crinkled cotton twill with a wax-effect coating develops subtle shifts in sheen under different light, giving the surface the character of a worn archival garment. A garment wash, matte metal zipper, and high-density embroidery reinforce the jacket’s restrained, utilitarian finish.
